Significant Improvement in Overall Response and Progression-Free Survival in Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia

August 3, 2009

The Journal of Clinical Oncology Publishes TREANDA Study Demonstrating Significant Improvement in Overall Response and Progression-Free Survival in Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia. Which is good news. I just worry that, if we get nationalized healthcare, the incentives to provide that kind of high quality healthcare and innovation is going to go away. And then maybe not much more good news like this.

This cartoon is about our current healthcare "crisis", I think. But it functions better as a prediction for life under nationalized medicine.

If you think it’ll turn out fine–meaning nationalized healthcare–just take a look at how the government’s cash for clunkers program is turning out. Oh, dear.

We’ve Got a New Search Engine at DME Supply Group

July 30, 2009

But I think it’s going to be temporary. In any case, let’s give it a look, shall we. Try this search for Ostomy products. You can sort if by the Ostomy Price or the Ostomy Category or whatever. Pretty cool.

Here’s a search for scooters, and a search for ActiveCare Medical. Much better than the same result in the old Yahoo! search engine.

I’m continuing to post on our Medical Supplies Tumblr Blog. I really like Tumblr. No foolin’.

Also just posted on 3m Steri-Strip Adhesive Skin Closures at our Blogspot blog. Jest so you know.

I’m Still Talking. Oh, Yes. I Am.

July 21, 2009

Take a look at the DME Medical Supplies Blogspot Blog if you don’t believe me.  As of the moment, that particular link contains chating about Arm Slings, Crypton Gold, Hydrogel Wound Dressings, Mettler TENS units, Heavy Duty Pen Lights, Feather Lite Scalpel Blades and more!

So, check out that blog. Or my Tumblr blog.  Laterz, my peeps.

The DME Supply Group Tumblr Blog

Tumblog or TumbleLog or whatever you call it, I started one for DME. Read my Tumblr adventures in Medical Supplies here.

So, there ya go. More later. Ta-ta!

What I’m Talking About Elsewhere

July 15, 2009

Keeping in mind that WordPress doesn’t want me to keep linking to the site that I was commenting on–our commercial website–I decided I’d blog elsewhere, and occasionally link to those blogs when I had some really good stuff cooking, in my opinion. Today I do.

The Doctor Is In. But I'm Not Really A Doctor. I Don't Even Play One On TV. But I Am Here to Help You.

The Doctor Is In. But I'm Not Really A Doctor. I Don't Even Play One On TV. But I Am Here to Help You.

I’ve got a post up on the BlogSpot version of our blog on Sterile Lubricants, Strolleasy Wheelchairs, Cast Comfort Spray, Rectal Dilators, TriDerma products, Medline Bordered Gauze and more. So check it out.

But that’s not all. No, that is not all!

I also did a post on my LiveJournal blog (which I originally left to go to this blog on WordPress, perhaps a bit too hastily, given my later troubles), on elastic shoelaces and shower rails and cannula ear protectors and scar relievers and steel commodes and butterfly blood collection and more.

So, I humbly ask you to stop by, as apparently I can link to the individual products at my site in each blog post without bringing down the heavy-hand of the Gestapo–both at LiveJournal and Blogspot–unlike on WordPress. ;)

Just kidding about that Gestapo stuff. Sort of.

More later, my friends.

Recents Posts on the New Durable Medical Equipment Blog

February 2, 2009

I’ve move this blog, for the most part, to http://durable-medical-equipment.blogspot.com/ because I WordPress doesn’t allow me to keep linking to specific products on our website. Apparently, it’s considered Search Engine Optimization, although the goal is to link to the specific products I’m mentioning in my blog posts. As such, I’m not blogging so much here, but rather, at the site above. But I thought I’d take a moment to mention a few recent posts over there.

Such as this one on Skin Pressure Protection. And this post on the Importance of Medical and Surgical  Lighting.
